Gmail shows "via sendgrid.net" (or another service) next to your name

What's happening: Gmail adds "via something.com" when the message was signed by, or sent from, a domain that isn't your From domain. It's a visible sign that DKIM isn't aligned with your domain, and the same mail is more likely to fail DMARC and land in spam.

How to fix it

  1. Identify the domain in the "via" label: that's the tool sending on your behalf.
  2. Set up custom DKIM (domain authentication) for your domain inside that tool.
  3. Send a test to Gmail: once DKIM signs with your domain, the "via" label disappears.

Not sure which record is wrong? Check your domain free: it shows which of SPF, DKIM and DMARC is failing, in 5 seconds, no signup.
